ABOUT THE COMPANY
RHEVE & Sons Coffee and Cacao is a Peruvian-American–owned small business dedicated to sourcing premium coffee beans and cacao from generational farmers in the Peruvian highlands. Rooted in a small mountain village, the brand draws inspiration from La Bella Durmiente (the Sleeping Beauty) mountain ridge and the region’s Oro Verde—the green-gold coffee grown high in the mountains.
Starting with only a name, I brought the RHEVE & Sons brand to life through deep research and hands-on experience visiting small organic farms in Peru. The visual identity and color palette are uniquely tied to this region, inspired by its landscape, culture, and the vibrant daily life I documented through photography for the brand.
The Inspiration
Inspired by the Sleeping Beauty ("la bella duermiente”) mountain ridge in Peru, the RHEVE & SONS mark reflects both place and process. The green and gold palette references Oro Verde—the green-gold hue of freshly dried Peruvian coffee beans and a symbol of exceptional quality.
